About the Park

Universal Studios is a theme park located in Orlando, Florida and was the first park in the Universal Orlando Resort complex. The park opened on June 7, 1990 and has been one of Florida's most popular tourist destinations ever since.

Areas in the Park

The park has nine themed areas: Hollywood, Minion Land, New York, San Francisco, World Expo, Springfield: Home of the Simpsons, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Diagon Alley and a Dreamworks-inspired area will soon open to replace Woody Woodpecker's Kidzone.

Attractions to Explore

Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts.

This attraction will take you to the vaults of the most guarded bank in the magical world, Gringotts. You will be able to experience twists, turns, drops and wonderful special effects.

Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit

This roller coaster has a height of 51 meters and a speed of up to 105 km/h (105 mph). One of the coolest features of the game is that you can choose your own soundtrack to listen to during the ride while enjoying the twists and turns.

Transformers: The Ride 3D

Based on the popular Transformers movie franchise, this attraction transports you on a 3D journey as you battle the evil Decepticons. Special effects and 3D screen technology make the experience incredibly realistic.

Despicable Me Minion Mayhem

This attraction will captivate the hearts of the whole family. Here you will be transformed into a minion from the movie "My Favorite Villain" and go through a series of tests to become a real minion.

The Simpsons Ride

A must-play game for fans of this iconic TV series. Join the Simpson family and have fun in a simulator that will take you to KrustyLand.

Revenge of the Mummy

This is a hilarious roller coaster based on the Mummy movie franchise. It features special effects and thrilling twists and turns.

However, it also has numerous live shows, such as Animal Actors: On Location where you can see how animals are trained to appear on the big screen, the mind-blowing Bourne Stuntacular that combines hyper-realistic technology with stuntmen, the Blues Brothers music show, among many others.
